In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
