The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
