We gave the people of Israel a settled abode, and bestowed good things on them to eat and use. So they did not differ until they came to have knowledge. Your Lord will assuredly settle their differences on the Day of Resurrection. 93 So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. 94 Do not be among those who belie the verses of Allah, for then you would be among the losers. 95 Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe, 96 Even if every sign should come to them, - until they see the painful torment. 97 If only there had been a community (of all those that were destroyed of old) that believed and profited by its belief as did the folk of Jonah! When they believed We drew off from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the world and gave them comfort for a while. 98 Had your Lord so willed, all those who are on the earth would have believed. Will you, then, force people into believing? 99 No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt (or obscurity) on those who will not understand. 100 (Muhammad), tell them to consider that which is in the heavens and the earth. Evidence and warnings are of no avail to the disbelieving people. 101 What are they waiting for except to witness the repetition of the days of calamity that their predecessors witnessed? Tell them: 'Wait; I too am waiting with you. 102 Then We shall save Our messengers and those who believe. Thus We have made it incumbent upon Ourself to save the believers. 103
