The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
