The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
