O you who believe! do not devour usury, making it double and redouble, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful. 130 And beware of the Fire gotten ready for the infidels. 131 And obey Allah and the Apostle, that you may be shown mercy. 132 ۞ Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,- 133 who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good; 134 and those who, if they commit indecency or wrong themselves remember Allah and ask forgiveness of their sins for who but Allah forgives sins and those who do not persist in what they do while they know. 135 Their recompense is pardon by their Lord, and gardens with streams of running water where they will abide for ever. How fair is the recompense of those who act! 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil) 138 And do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers, 139 If a wound should touch you - there has already touched the [opposing] people a wound similar to it. And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people so that Allah may make evident those who believe and [may] take to Himself from among you martyrs - and Allah does not like the wrongdoers - 140 so that God may purge those who believe and wipe out those who deny the truth. 141 Did you suppose that you would enter Paradise without Allah knowing those of you who struggled and who were patient? 142 And you used to wish for death before you met it; so now you see it before your eyes. 143
