The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
118 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Prophets (Al-Anbyaa') before Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Successful indeed are the believers; 1 who are submissive to God in their prayers, 2 who avoid impious talks, 3 And who are givers of poor-rate, 4 And they who guard their private parts 5 Except from their wives or the legal bondwomen that they possess, for then there is no blame upon them. 6 (but whosoever seeks after more than that, those are the transgressors) 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And those who are watchful of their acts of prayer. 9 Those are the inheritors 10 Those who will get the inheritance of Paradise; they will abide in it forever. 11 We created man from the finest extract of clay, 12 and then We cause him to remain as a drop of sperm in [the wombs] firm keeping, 13 then We developed that drop into a clinging form, and We developed that form into a lump of flesh, and We developed that lump into bones, and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought him into being as a new creation, glory be to God, the best of creators, 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 and be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And indeed, We have created above you seven [celestial] orbits: and never are We unmindful of [any aspect of Our] creation. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 And created the tree that comes forth from Mount Sinai that grows containing oil and curry for the eaters. 20 And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat. 21 and by them - as by the ships [over the sea] - you are borne [overland]. 22

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
