The trumpet will be blown and, at once, they will rise up from their graves, and hasten to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It shall be but one shout; and lo! they shall all be brought together before Us. 53 today no soul will be wronged at all; nor shall ye be requited but for that which ye have been working. 54 Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed, 55 They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining; 56 They will have fruits and whatever they desire. 57 Upon them will be “Peace” – a Word from their Merciful Lord! 58 But avaunt ye, O ye guilty, this day! 59 ۞ Did I not ordain for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you. 60 and that you worship Me? Surely, that is the Straight Path. 61 Yet he led astray a great multitude of you. Why did you not then understand? 62 Now this is the Hell of which you were warned. 63 [Enter to] burn therein today for what you used to deny." 64 This Day, We shall seal up their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their legs will bear witness to what they used to earn. (It is said that one's left thigh will be the first to bear the witness). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 22, Page 24] 65 Had it been Our will We would have obliterated their sight so that they raced to the Path.
