Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night.
