Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 So you and your deities 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 unless it be such as rushes towards the blazing fire [of his own accord]! 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 and we glorify God". 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 Our Word had already preceded Our worshipers, the Messengers, 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 And leave them for a time. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
