Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
