Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
