The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Attired in silk and silk embroidery, facing one another. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
