We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
