The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 and by those that speedily glide along (the cosmos), 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 and by those who regulate events. 5 On the Day, the shiverer shivers 6 and will be followed by the second one, 7 Hearts on that Day will be throbbing; 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 When, behold, they find themselves over the earth alive after their death, 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 That “Go to Firaun – he has rebelled.” 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 So he showed him the greater sign; 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 then he turned away hastily, 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 Saying: "I am your lord, most high", 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life. 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26
