Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
