Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
