۞ Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things). 54 And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away. 55 Those who have received knowledge and have faith will say, "By the decree of God, you have remained for the exact period which was mentioned in the Book of God about the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know." 56 And so, on that Day their excuse will be of no avail to those who were bent on evildoing, nor will they be allowed to make amends. 57 And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, "You [believers] are but falsifiers." 58 This is how Allah sets seal upon the hearts of the ignorant. 59 Be patient. The promise of God is certainly true. Let not the faithless make you despair of the promise of God. 60
