The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Allah's commandment has come, therefore do not desire to hasten it; glory be to Him, and highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He hath created man from a drop, and Lo! he is a disputer open. 4 And the cattle -- He created them for you; in them is warmth, and uses various, and of them you eat, 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning. 6 And they carry your loads to [many] a place which [otherwise] you would be unable to reach without great hardship to yourselves. Verily, your Sustainer is most compassionate, a dispenser of grace! 7 And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge. 8 And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). 9
