۞ O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. 15 He could replace you by a new creation if He decided to. 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 Equal are not the blind and those who can see, 19 Neither darknesses and light, 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 nor are the living and the dead alike. Allah makes to hear whomsoever He wishes, but you, (O Prophet), cannot cause to hear those who are in their graves. 22 You are purely a Herald of Warning. 23 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). 24 If they reject you, so did their predecessors. Messengers came to them with clear signs, with scriptures, and with the enlightening Book, 25 Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how was My rejection! 26
