Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Is it not that they say, from their own invention, 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Do you have clear authority? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 except those who are doomed to enter hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 And verily we! we hallow. 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
