Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
