But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 And they contrived a plot of great magnitude, 22 and have said, "Do not leave your gods, and do not leave Wadd, nor Suwa', Yaghuth, Ya'uq, neither Nasr." 23 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 24 And so they were drowned on account of their sins, and then cast into the Fire, and did not find any other than Allah, to come forth to their help. 25 And Noah said, 'My Lord, leave not upon the earth of the unbelievers even one. 26 "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers." 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
