Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, recording, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 to burn therein. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
