The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And wide eyed houris 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 and made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
