The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what have you understood what the Crushing One is! 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 closed around them 8 in endless columns! 9
