And mention thou in the Book Musa: verily he was single-hearted, and was an apostle, prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the mountain Tur, and brought him close to reveal Our secret. 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And remember Ismail in the Book; he was indeed true to his promise and was a Noble Messenger, a Prophet. 54 And he ordered his people to pray and to give charity and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And mention thou in the book ldris, verily he was a man of truth, a prophet. 56 We raised him up to a high place. 57 These are they whom Allah hath favoured, from among the prophets, of the progeny of Adam and of them whom We bore with Nuh, and of the progeny of Ibrahim and Isra'il, and of those whom We have guided and chosen; whenever the revelations of the Compassionate were rehearsed unto them, they fell down prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell. 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 They will be admitted to the garden of Eden which is the unseen promise of the Beneficent God to His servants. The promise of God will certainly come true. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2). 63 [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful - 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
