Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I swear by all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
