Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
