Al-Anbyaa' 7 of 7
So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders. 94 And a ban is laid on every town which We have destroyed, that they Shall not return. 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose, and begin swooping from every mound, 96 and nigh has drawn the true promise, and behold, the eyes of the unbelievers staring: 'Alas for us! We were heedless of this; 'nay, we were evildoers.' 97 Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it. 98 Had these indeed been gods they would not have gone there. But (as it is), all of you shall ever abide in it." 99 There is groaning for them therein, and they do not hear. 100 Surely (as for) those for whom the good has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it; 101 They will not hear its faintest sound, and they shall abide in that which their souls long for. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 We have written in the psalms which We had revealed after the Torah that the earth will be given to Our righteous servants as their inheritance. 105 Surely in this is a Message delivered unto a people who serve. 106 We have sent you forth as nothing but mercy to people of the whole world. 107 Say: "It is revealed to me that your God is only One God. Will you, then, submit to Him?" 108 But if they are averse, then say: I have warned you all alike, although I know not whether nigh or far is that which ye are promised. 109 "Verily, He knows all that is said openly, just as He [alone] knows all that you would conceal. 110 Nor do I know whether it may mean a trial for you and a short reprieve." 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
