And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 The Trustworthy Spirit brought it down. (Angel Jibreel – peace be upon him.) 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And most surely the same is in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it to the extent that they see the painful punishment. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 And the devils have not brought the revelation down. 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 preaching what they do not practice. 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
