And (remember) when Allah said: "O 'Iesa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Iesa (Jesus) is Allah's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad SAW, 'Iesa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy Books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute." 55 Those who are infidels will surely receive severe punishment both in this world and the next; and none will they have to help (or save) them. 56 But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers. 57 THIS MESSAGE do We convey unto thee, and this tiding full of wisdom: 58 The example of Eisa with Allah is like that of Adam; He created him (Adam) from clay and then said to him, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 59 (This is) the truth from your Lord, so be not of the disputers. 60 And if anyone should argue with thee about this [truth] after all the knowledge that has come unto thee, say: "Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray [together] humbly and ardently, and let us invoke God's curse upon those [of us] who are telling a lie." 61 This is indeed the truthful narration. There is no god except Allah. It is Allah who is the Almighty, the Wise. 62 But if they turn back, Allah hath full knowledge of those who do mischief. 63
