Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
