I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah). Sent down in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
