And assuredly the dwellers of Hijr belied the sent ones. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Who have made the Quran into parts. (i.e. believed in a part and disbelieved in the other). 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 and believe other things to be equal to God. They will soon know the truth. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 and serve thy Lord, until the Certain comes to thee. 99
