Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
