Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 pursuing a straight way 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
