Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
