The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
