The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
