Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
