Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And surely your Lord will gather them together; surely He is Wise, Knowing. 25
