On the Day when We call all the people with their record, whosoever is given his book in his right hand shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged by as much as a single datefiber. 71 And whoever is blind in this world (i.e., does not see Allah's Signs and believes not in Him), will be blind in the Hereafter, and more astray from the Path. 72 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! 73 and had We not confirmed thee, surely thou wert near to inclining unto them a very little; 74 then would We have let thee taste the double of life and the double of death; and then thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us. 75 And they indeed wished to scare thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence, and then they would have stayed (there) but a little after thee. 76 [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration. 77
