Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
