The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
