And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
