The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
