1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
O apostles! eat of the good things and do good; surely I know what you do. 51 And indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me." 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Do they think that because We have granted them abundance of wealth and sons, 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 and those who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 Supplicate not this day! Assuredly ye will not be helped by Us. 65 Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and with hatred to listen to them). 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 And were the truth to follow their desires there would have been corrupted the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein. Aye! We have come to them with their admonition; so it is from their admonition that they turn away. 71 Or, do you ask a tribute from them? Your Lord's tribute is better. He is the Best of providers. 72 and, most surely, you are calling them to a straight path. 73 And indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviated from the Straight Path. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 (They are such) that We seized them with chastisement (and yet) they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor do they entreat 76 when We opened on them a gate of severe punishment, they utterly despaired. 77
