Have you not seen how Allah is exalted by those in the heavens and earth, and the birds with outspread wings? He knows its prayers and its exaltations and Allah has knowledge of the things they do. 41 To God belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Him is the homecoming. 42 Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightening almost takes away the eyesight. 43 It is Allah Who alternates the Night and the Day: verily in these things is an instructive example for those who have vision! 44 Allah created everything that walks from water. Some creep upon their bellies, others walk on two feet, and others walk on four. Allah creates whatever He will. Allah is Powerful over everything. 45 We have sent down revelations clearly showing the truth. God guides whom He wills to the straight path. 46 They say they believe in God and the Prophet, and have come to believe, yet a section of them turns back even after this; and these are not believers. 47 And when they are called to Allah and His Apostle that he may judge between them, lo! a party of them turn aside. 48 And if right had been theirs, they would have come to him readily. 49 Are their hearts diseased, or do they have doubts, or do they fear that Allah and His Noble Messenger will oppress them? In fact they themselves are the unjust. 50
