۞ Say to them, "I exhort you to do one thing: and that is to stand up before God in pairs, or singly, and then reflect. You will thus realize that your companion is not afflicted with madness. He is only a warner, warning you of an impending severe chastisement." 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say, "My Lord speaks the Truth. He has the knowledge of the unseen". 48 Say thou: the truth is come, and falsehood shall neither originate nor be restored. 49 Say, "If I go astray it will only be against my own soul, but if I receive guidance, it will be through my Lord's revelations." He is All-hearing and Omnipresent. 50 If you could only see when they (the unbelievers) are seized with terror, and there is no escape. They shall be seized from a nearby place, 51 then they will say, "We now believe in Him." But how will they attain to faith, having gone so far away from it? 52 seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away? 53 And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial. 54
